Day One

So not completely satisfied with myself today... I did not have a coke! Which is a great step for me. I did have four bottles of water so far... I will have one more before bed. So I did get in the amount that is recommend, just wasn't the amount I wanted. But hey, gotta start some where!

Night Before Day One


Tonight as I was snacking on my cookies, I decided that's it. I am tired of feeling unhealthy, and frankly, FAT! I have known for awhile that I have wanted to loose weight, but have also never done anything about it. Well IT IS TIME! I am starting over again in life and it's time to commit. New city, new school, NEW ME! Though I'd give anything to be a Victory Secert Angel, that is not, and never will be my goal. I want to have more energy, be able to wear form fitting clothes without feeling uncomfortable, and most of all FEEL HEALTHY!!! So I am going to try to remind myself during this of my goals; I want to feel healthy, not like a tooth pick. I have no professional knowledge on how to loose weight, but just the general, common sense information. I know all the things I am suppose to do; drink water, eat greens, no cokes, no sugars, lean meats (chicken); eat a big breakfast, and 7-8 times during the day of healthy snacks, eat a small dinner, never eat after 6, no dairy, work out 3-5 times a week for a hour at a time (of intense work outs) well... if I hit the ground running like that, I won't make it to day three and then I'll feel like a faliure, again. So I am going to start slow, hoping with each new change I will gain more energy to push me on to the next challenge.

Tomorrow I will document my messurements (yuck!)

But here is a little about me... 20 yr old College student currently living at home taking care of my siblings. (16, 10, & 5) The 16 yr old has to be at football by 7:00am every morning.

Goal Weight: 135

Week One:
Wake up before the kids
Coffee & Vitamins
Make Breakfast
Drink 6 bottles of water daily
Don't forget to eat lunch! (I don't know why, but I do sometimes)
No desserts or unhealthy snacking
Walk/Jog a mile OR Swim 15 laps 3 times
Coke Zero everyother day

So like I said... baby steps! Tomorrow I'll weigh in and take pictures. As I come across them I will  put up recipes I find, that aren't too bad for you!
